1. Under acidic conditions, draining is generally unnecessary, and neutralization and water rinsing are not required, significantly shortening the process time.
2. For dyeing and moisture-wicking, sweat-transporting finishing of machine-cylinder fabrics, acidic reduction washing does not affect the performance and results in reduced color change.
3. The effectiveness in preventing color staining of spandex is significantly superior to that of reduction cleaning with sodium hydrosulfite.
4. Fluorescent dyes do not affect fluorescence intensity or color.

Scope of Application
It replaces the conventional processes using sodium hydrosulfite and liquid caustic soda for acidic reduction washing after disperse dyeing.

Acid-reduction washing process for medium-to-dark-colored polyester woven and knitted fabrics
Acidic reducing cleaning agent: 2 g/L
pH: 3–4
Temperature/Time: 95°C × 15 min
Please adjust the specific process parameters based on trial samples.
Precautions
During the reduction cleaning process, glacial acetic acid and the acidic reducing cleaning agent must not be added simultaneously. First, add the acetic acid to adjust the pH to 3–4, and then add the acidic reducing cleaning agent. The chemicals must be diluted with fresh water; recycled water must not be used.
