  • Resin Catalyst ZZL333

Component

Synergistic mixtures of inorganic salts, etc.

Appearance

Colorless or light-colored transparent liquid

Nature

Ionic

Nonionic

Specific gravity

1.1–1.15 g/cm³ at 20°C

Solubility

Miscible with cold water in any proportion.

Compatibility

Compatible with most finishing auxiliaries. When blending with other auxiliaries, it is recommended to conduct preliminary tests first.

Storage property

Store this product in a dry, shaded environment at temperatures between 5°C and 30°C in a tightly sealed container; the shelf life is at least 18 months. Once the packaging drum is opened, use the contents as soon as possible; if not all of it is used, reseal the container securely.

Application

This is a complementary catalyst for resin finishing of woven and knitted fabrics made from cellulose fibers, synthetic fibers, and their blends, and it is a highly efficient catalyst. When this catalyst is used, the finished fabrics do not emit any unpleasant odors.

Dosage

The catalyst ZZL333 is typically present at 25–30% of the resin content, with a concentration ranging from no less than 13 g/L to no more than 50 g/L.

Reference Prescription
1. Stone-washed and casual garment soaking for a cat-ear finish
60–100 g/L: Take Siliping RS
15–30 g/L: Catalyst ZZL333
Or 50–60 g/L: Enhancer ZYL100A (add to Round Cat Whiskers)
10–30 g/L: Fiber protectant PE (added according to fabric strength)
Soak at room temperature for 10 minutes, then spin-dry in a centrifuge. Pre-dry at 90–100°C until the fabric is about 80–90% dry, press to set the creases, and finally bake at 130–140°C for 15–20 minutes (adjust according to the fabric type and equipment).
2. Fabric processing (poplin, viscose/linen, etc.)
60–100 g/L: Take Siliping RS
15–30 g/L: Catalyst ZZL333
10–30 g/L: Soft Oil Concentrate ZRL636B
Impregnate and roll at room temperature, with a liquor pick-up of 70–90%; dry at 120°C, then bake at 160°C for 2 minutes.

Precautions

Since the resin reaction requires acidic catalytic conditions, it is recommended that users adjust the pH of the textile surface to a neutral range before treatment and avoid allowing the surface to become alkaline. In addition, the working solution pH should be adjusted to approximately 4.5 using glacial acetic acid.
