Characteristics
Main ingredient: metalloenzyme-mimetic complex activator
Appearance: Viscous liquid ranging in color from dark green to brown
Ionic nature: anion
pH: 4–6 (1% aqueous solution)
Solubility: readily soluble in water
Advantages
1. This product can activate hydrogen peroxide at 60–70°C for highly efficient scouring and bleaching, resulting in fabrics with high whiteness and excellent wettability.
2. The process conditions are mild, which can significantly improve fabric smoothness, reduce creasing, scuffing, pilling, and strength loss.
3. The fabric exhibits minimal weight loss and a soft hand feel.
4. Steam consumption is reduced by more than 30%, while processing time is shortened, leading to improved production efficiency and economic benefits.
5. Low foaming; can be used directly in automated material-feeding systems, does not contaminate equipment, is easy to clean, and is convenient to use.
6. Reduce CO2 emissions and lower the carbon footprint of the scouring and bleaching process.
7. Phosphate-free, APEO-free, and free of organic halides; does not contain substances of very high concern under the REACH Regulation; complies with the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
Reference Process
1. Impregnation method:
Dosage: 5A: 0.5–1 g/L
Hydrogen peroxide 6–10 g/L
NAOH 2–3 g/L
pH: 5–7
Temperature: 60–70°C
Time: 40–50 minutes
Users should adjust the specific process parameters as appropriate based on the characteristics of the test samples.
Precautions
Please add the ingredients in the prescribed order: first add the esterase, then the caustic soda, and finally the hydrogen peroxide. Under no circumstances should the esterase and hydrogen peroxide be added simultaneously; they must be added separately!
Both laboratory trials and production in the workshop shall follow the procedure of adding materials at room temperature up to 40°C, then heating at a rate of 2–3°C/min to 60–70°C, holding at this temperature for 40–50 minutes, and finally thoroughly rinsing with hot water above 60–70°C.
Sodium carbonate cannot be used as a substitute for caustic soda; the working solution must contain at least 2 g/L of caustic soda as the alkaline agent to achieve the desired treatment effect.
