Denim Wash – Washing Aid
Manganese Lijing is a substitute for pyrosulfite, used as a high-concentration reducing agent to remove released manganese dioxide and to treat bleaching solutions and wastewater containing potassium permanganate.
Elasticity protector BL-1 is a specialized additive designed to address the long-standing issues of foaming, loss of elasticity, breakage of spandex fibers, and reduction in tensile strength that occur during the washing and dyeing processes of spandex-based stretch garments.
FPG-850 is a dye-fixing auxiliary agent for denim washing, designed to prevent dyestuffs that have detached during the washing process from redepositing and re-staining the denim fabric and finished garments. Its main component is a special high-molecular-weight polyester, which dissolves readily in water. Its excellent leveling and diffusion properties further enhance and refine the quality of garment washing. Through appropriate formulation, it delivers outstanding dye-fixing performance for polyester-based fabrics without compromising elasticity.
FPG-550 is a specialized surfactant blend designed for post-stonewashing cleaning and color-fixing in denim apparel. It is suitable for intercolor color-fixing treatments on cotton, cotton/linen, cotton/acrylic, denim, twill, knitted fabrics, and blended woven and knitted garments. FPG-550 effectively prevents staining and color pickup on white backgrounds, while delivering excellent removal of floating dye and superior scouring performance. It is ideal for use in dyeing and washing processes to enhance wash fastness and color brilliance.
Dye-blocking soap J200 boasts strong cleaning, dispersing, and color-transfer-prevention properties, making it ideal for desizing in denim stone-washing, cleaning during enzymatic washing, and preventing color transfer to pocket fabric in other processing steps.
High-Manganese Substitute R-PP
Potassium permanganate is widely used for decolorization and bleaching in denim stone-washing processes, such as “spray monkey,” “hand-rub monkey,” and “stir-fry snowflake” techniques. However, as a strong oxidizing agent, potassium permanganate poses significant health risks to workers during handling and is also classified as a precursor chemical subject to strict control by public security authorities, making its purchase and storage cumbersome. Consequently, there is an increasingly urgent need to find alternatives to potassium permanganate. R-PP, a potassium permanganate substitute, is a milder decolorizing agent that contains no manganese, chlorine, bromine, iodine, or heavy-metal ions. It can be applied directly at room temperature—by spraying, rubbing, brushing, or stir-frying—without the need for dissolution or combination with phosphoric acid, making it more convenient to use than potassium permanganate while being more environmentally friendly and safer (though protective equipment, such as masks, gloves, and safety goggles, must still be worn during application). R-PP is therefore an ideal replacement for potassium permanganate in denim bleaching and decolorization.
